I am not sure if this is the right place. But....
Reef2Reef is awesome and so helpful especially for the folks just starting out.
I was just thinking about how long I have been doing reef tanks.
I'm in my 40s and I can remember taking a slurp gun with my dad and catching our own fish in Guam. I have a love of the ocean and became an Ocean Engineer/US Navy Diver. I have been diving all over the world but mainly the Pacific. Wake Island, Kawj Atoll, Midway, Chuuk, Palau, Okinawa, Christmas Island and so on. Because of this, I have had reef tanks since I was a kid and love our little glass reefs we create and manage.
I also remember starting my own reef tank in the mid 90s when all we had was Julian Sprung's Book and the Neilson/Fossa books. Good times!!!
That all said, I am glad I came across Reef2Reef.
Such a great resource with great members and fellow reefers always willing to help!!!
