Reef2Reef Keeps Freezing in My Safari Browser on iPhone

Anyone else experiencing the Reef2Reef website freezing on their iPhone when using a Safari browser? Then have to close the browser down and restart the webpage. Not having issues with any other websites freezing while browsing on my phone.

Wondering if this is an Apple issue or an R2R issue?

Every now and then, but I'm never sure if it's my WiFi connection or something else... I just wish I could view a lot of the video content in Safari (MP4s, etc.)

I’m using safari on my iPhone all the time and am Not experiencing it. But that doesn’t mean that something isn’t up.

Just happened again - page frozen. Had to switch apps before the website worked again.

Mine has been doing this for months my pages load half way…only on reeftoreef here a picture…have to restart Browser to fix it

I use Safari on my IPhone all the time and haven’t seen any issues lately. I can give you guys a few tips and some trial & errors which might help you. I work for Verizon on the outside landlines for the last 26 years and deal with wifi and signal issues everyday. The one thing that some people don’t realize is that your cell phone transmission hits the cell tower and then it comes back to land to a fiber cable. Then it routes to where ever it needs to go.
Just to give a few tips that I would do if it was me and I hope that it will work for you guys.
First I would try and get another IPhone and go onto the site separately and see if it happens to both.
Second you can see if your Router has 2 wifi antennas which most do. There’s usually a 2.5 and a 5.0 which means that the 2.4 is for distance and the 5.0 is for speed. Now if your router is far away you’ll use the 2.4 because it will penetrate your walls and ceilings. The 5.0 is mainly for Videos and Gaming and will not give you the speed the further you are from the router.
The other thing that you guys need to look at is it also happening when you switch your phone to 4G/5G and go to the page. Is the homepage still freezing up. The other thing that you can also try to narrow it down is to see if you can open other pages that have video content and compare and see if it’s freezing up. I hope that something out of it worked for you guys and if it didn’t you can always reach out to me. There’s always a reason why it’s happening. The craziest thing is finding out why it’s happening.
