You always hear that corals are bleaching and dying. El Nino and humans are destroying our reef, global warming etc etc. Have you ever wondered what efforts were being made and what experiments are done behind the scene to bring these corals back?
To answer that question, we went to Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center in Dania Beach, Florida to report to you guys what efforts are being made. I have been following their programs for several years now and I am happy to say that they are making great strides in both inland nurseries and off shore coral nurseries.
We go behind the scene tour of their facilities with Nick Turner, head of inland nursery program and check out some of the corals that they are working on.
Enjoy!
P.S. Donation links will be made available very soon by the university and I will post their direct link as soon as it becomes available to me. Stay tuned.
