This looks more like a Lucky Charms or Kombucha variant than Therman’s CC DJ. His DJ is usually this medium lavender with rich golden polyps.

If this is truly his DJ, I’m impressed with the red polyps it’s getting.

I just got the third one a few weeks back. I have them all on acclimation mode at about 70% slowly ramping up to 100%. All running AB+.

Thank you! I have a 300 XL and considering t5 hybrid or a 3rd xr15. Does the middle xr15 just fit the overflow box or did you have to cut anything?

You would have to cut the box plastic. I've just got mine off for now.

May I ask what are your perimeters ? ALK; CAL; MAG and PH?
Do you feed your corals other than the Amino you dose two a week?

Alk is typically around 9. It drifts upwards and downwards from time to time and I let it do its thing.

CA is 450 on a good day. I've had times where it's gotten way too high but it doesn't seem to be a huge negative.

MG 1350ish

PH, recently started using a CO2 scrubber and it peaks at 8.5. This has been a huge benefit to the tank as a whole.

Nitrates 20
Phos .2(not .02)

I dose the following:
Easy booster and easy sps 8ml a day
Red sea AB+ 20ml a day
Two part 45ml a day
Balling 90ml
KZ coral booster and FW stop as a preventative measure.
Acropower, capful maybe twice a week if I remember

It's kind of a lot but works well for me.
