Wow, night and day, the halide pics are spot on! Thanks for taking the time to take all of them, I like the one you fragged a piece off of.
Why don't you try upping the hours your halides run? What LEDs are you using?

I use to run my halides for 8 hours but it seemed like I was losing color. Not sure if I was burning them. So I reduced photo period and they seem to be doing better. I run two Sbar LEDs for antics. But my DKH was also around 7 with high lights so that might have caused issues also. Currently my DKH runs at 9.0 and my corals definitely like the increased alkalinity

I had issues with keeping dkh stable cause I was using a kalk reactor with dosing pumps but I could never keep it stable so I went back to 2 part dosing and my coral is definitely happy with the change. You can see some alkalinity burn on some of the frags tips from the swings. I want to try a calcium reactor but I don't think I have enough load to warrant the change. I am currently only dosing 54ml dkh daily.

How is that monticulosa looking frag looking now? The one with the real big round pinkish tips that was poking out? That piece is awesome and not many people grow them out. Looks like it’s time to take some pics with a real camera again! Looking good.

i took a picture with the DSLR camera. This is the best i could do. The polyps aren't out allot on this picture and it's real hard to get a true color on the picture. i changed the Radions to 12K and the picture still came out like this. Anyways, it hasn't grown a lot but it has grown some. I have really been waiting for this one to take off and grow some more but just going to need to be patient.

OK, So i haven't taken pictures with my DSLR camera in a while and i am having issues with logging on to Photoshop for color correction so this is the best i can do for now. They were taken with the Radion's set at 10K.

I would love to get rid of them but not sure how. I would have to get rid of rock and cut the acros off right?

I would certainly cut the Disney out and remount it and chuck the rocks that have any plays on them. Those things spread everywhere.

I’ve been taking more pics and I think this is a little better of a true representation of the color. Not as purple on tips.

i went ahead and took your advice and removed the acros from the rock with the palys. Sorry about the bad cell phone pic

I’ve been using kalk paste and gaudy clown crabs, but I haven’t seen them since the day I put them in
