Reefbrite hybrid T5/led

Anyone have this fixture? My powermodule for the frag tank fell into tank and short circuited and looking for a replacement. I only run 2 bulbs on my frag tank anyway so am trying to find out more information about the reef brite. It's a little ugly, but as long as it works.

I'm pretty sue I have seen @WWC runing these fixtures in there farm. Sorry to hear about the light.

I have several of the "retrofits" running and love them.

@kschweer I'm sure these things are great. Keeping options open though. But need to decide fast since my frag tank has no lights.

@stunreefer Which version is that one? For my frag tank even that's perfect.

I looked at these but for the price I decided to go with sun powers with reefbrites attached to them. Give way more options for t5 combos and the option to add one ore two reefbrite strips. Also more output and longer life for the t5s in the ATi fixture.

You don't even need to attach reefbrites anymore as you can just drop in a euroquatics e5 blue instead of running the rb.

Marine depot just started shipping them. I should have two blue's on Friday hopefully, then can take some before and after par readings to see how they perform. I'm expecting them to be the same as the t5 tubes but will have that blue LED pop. To me this is great as I do not have to worry about adding led supplements on the side of my fixture like I have now.

That's great now I have to try these. If I can get the same pop as the reef brite I might go with these next time around. @akma if these led tubes put out the same as a t5 and you get the color like LEDs it might work better for you to go with a 4 bulb t5 fixture and two e5s

What size was your power module? You want to sell it?

I have 48" retrofit units. They come without RB's so you can choose between standard or XHO RB strips. I use standard and feel it's plenty for most applications.
