Reefer 170 build for this old but new guy!

hello everyone I am going to document my build here and hope you guys will follow along .

Day1 ARRIVAL

Well the tank has arrived VIA R&L carriers which was a little hiccup! The sticker on the side of package from Red Sea said inspect all contents before you sign and the driver said I can’t touch it until I sign that it was a federal regulation!! Lol

So I talked with his supervisor on the phone and he agreed to let the driver hang out while I opened it

So all was good thank god

So the Journey begins come along for the ride!!! More to come!!

Box has been opened here we go!

Actually going together better than I thought well thought out system!

One side on

Went together easy

And the finished stand with the tank on top do t mind the fat guy in the reflection!!

Looking forward to seeing your build. I moved cross country and shut down my BioCube 29 which was packed with Neptune stuff. Trying to figure out a good setup in a 170 now.

WATER!!

Ok so I installed the RODI system I do have a question if someone can answer how much waste water do you let run ? Do you adjust it until you see 0 on the TDS meter coming out of the DI?
