Nanobox duo M vs Ecotech radion XR15W G4 PRO

Anyone?

bump

I'm thinking about picking up a 170 and placing it next to my 525. Like you I was planning on a XR15, however after several discussions I'm going to go with a XR30 instead, better spread once corals create shadowing.

Have you check Nanobox duo M a lot people like it not i'm not sure if i should return it and get XR30. so hard to find any comparison online

Nanobox Wide Quad might be another option for you...not sure the Duo would be enough?

So far the light spread is very nice

Looks like made your decision, but I went with a GHL to minimize shadowing. I think that's the big win of XR30 over the XR15

Yes I already got nanobox duo m to try it out I still can send it back . Is 400+ light I don’t want to regret it later on therefore looking for people that had both light before that can share some pro and con

I am curious if the new diffuser for the Radions makes a single XR15 viable? I know BRS did a video on the diffuser, but I'd already made my decision by then.

The Radion spec says 24x24 but recommended is 18x18. I'm thinking the XR15 is likely fine for LPS but for SPS better to use a Xr30.

The issue isn't so much the power, but shadowing. The 170 is typically a single fixture tank. The XR30 is often recommended over the XR15 because the XR30 has two pucks, but the diffuser on the XR15 might work nicely. I went with the GHL mitras because it has 6 pucks.
