Reefer 250 plumbing

I am looking to see if there are any benefits or negative affects on altering the factory plumbing of an RSR-250(not v3). I just acquired one and it has the oem plumbing. I would like to swap it for some of the brighter more attractive pvc as well as the stability of hard lines rather that the silicone return. Most of the detailed threads I found on these setups were the V3 edition where the sump is different. Thanks!

I have the v3 sump but you can take the ideas and change the routing of the plumbing to fit your needs. The benefits is you can use a gate valve to dial in your plumbing and the ease of adding a manifold now or down the line with standard size plumbing
