I set up my reefer 350 on carpet. It's a rental house so carpet stays, I hate carpet myself. I removed all the stupid plastic feet red sea uses as there is no way to shim the center feet. I installed heavy duty adjustable feet at all the original locations. I have the tank level in all directions. The stand is wobbly, like if you gently push it you create waves. I added a length of aluminum under the front, wedged tightly to carpet, which helped. I also put a bunch of shims around the perimeter but with carpet it's kinda pointless.

Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I added a 4x6 across two joists and a post Jack which eliminated the waves when walking by the tank. Another issue is the tank runs parallel to the joists. There's really no other useable wall in this rental. I also noticed the tank is level and cross level but the sump floor is anything but level. Is this normal for these cheap stands?

Nobody has a reefer series on carpet? Should I empty tank and put plywood down on top of carpet?

These are the levelers I used in place of the stock plastic feet. I think I have 16 installed. Plus shims on sides/back and this aluminum tube across the front seemed to help a bunch. But it's still wobbly.
