Reefer 425 options

I'm trying to settle on lights for my 425.

Currently I have 3 kessil 160s from my prior tanks but I want to upgrade to something a little more suitable.

I'm not touching radions as I think they're way overpriced.

I was eyeing Hydra 32s but want to make sure it's a good move.

I want a mixed reef with the touch of sps

Hydras will get the job done. So will Radion XR15/30s. So will Kessil A360. So will Neptune Sky. So will a number of other lights

On a tank very similar to the one you describe, I run 3 x Radion XR15 G. 6 + 2 x AI Blade 39".

Could I re-do it now, I would have gone for 3 x Kessil A360 + 2 x AI Blade. I love my FW Kessils!

I love the kessil too, but like the flat look of the Hydra

You might be able to get away with 2 x 360s.. If not, you can always add a 3rd one.

... OP don't want Radions Sort of get him, had I only been wiser when I bought mine! More money than sense it was..

Oh well- they get the job done! Are you using gen 6? And is it XR30's or 15's on your 425?

I'm running a 48" RB Photon V2 on my RSR425 and absolutely love it.

Reefer 425 with two Hydra 32s
2 and half years with them. No complaints.

I have my review on another thread regarding them. They were amazing. Had both the A8 and A8SE. For the cost difference there was no noticeable quality difference.
