Hello
Guys!!
My system is 140 gallons. (Reefer 525xl)
My tank finish cycle 2 weeks ago..

I use to cycle ammonium chloride.

I was cycle with aquaforest bio S.
A week ago introduce 3 small clown fish and reactor with GAC and GFO (both from aquaforest ).
When introduced the fish the parameters are the same that now.
Ammonia 0ppm. API
Nitrite 0ppm. API
Nitrate 10ppm. Salifert
PO4 0ppm Salifert.
My tank is under severe diatom attack..
I did begin to add ProbioS, NP pro and Pro bio F. A week ago..

I hope this works asap.. reducing no3.. and eliminating diatom..

What do you think?
I'm on the way?
I have to wait probiotic system reduce nitrate? Or I have to do anything else?
Or what do you recommend?

Thank you for your advice .

Keep dosing Pro bio S and NP Pro and wait. You can skip the Pro bio F.

Ok. Thank you..
You mean that I have to leave everything working as it is now..
Excellent!
And what about po4?
Is on 0ppm or almost 0ppn..
But I have read that bacteria needs some po4 to low no3.. it's true?
Cause I'm running GFO on a reactor together GAC. And I think is working very good keeping low po4.

Thank you

PO4 generally is never 0. But if you want to increase PO4 then feed more your fishes will be happy and it will also add PO4 to your water. You are right bacteria need PO4 and NO3 both.

thank you..

I know that each tank is a separated world.
I will continue add probio S and Np pro. And I will skip pro bio F.
How long I must see results on NO3?

Hello everyone! I'm still using np pro and pro bio S .. and my nitrates is still on 10ppm after 5 weeks.. is this normal?

Thank you.

Yes its normal. You need at least few months to get that bacterial system up and running.

Ok.. meanwhile what can I do..
Just wait?

Wait and hope...;)

Thank you for your help.
I have been thinking another faster method to keep ultra low nutrients like prodibio years before I did use and worked well to keep low level no3 and po4...
