Reefer 525xl Lighting

Good morning everyone,

I am moving next weekend because my Fiance and I bought a house, and you know what that means! Tank upgrade time! I am going to be going from a Reefer 250 to a 525XL. My question is I am currently running two Hydra 32s. I figure that would be pushing it a bit for a 60" tank. Do you think if I do three, I would be ok? I dont do a ton of SPS but I am wanting to get into it a bit more now that I will have a larger tank, which I probably wont get a bigger one for a while. Generally I am mainly a torch and hammer guy.

If the Fiance is down for another light, then look into adding a 3rd Hydra 32, and adding a hybridT5.

Luckily I am a very good customer and good friend of the owners of my LFS and hes just charging me wholesale. So hopefully that will leave me enough for the light.

Do you think the T5 would be necessary for the SPS? Or can I just put them higher on the rock work? I've actually never attempted to keep SPS because I had AI Primes before and just got the 32s a month ago.

Adding T5 will take care of all the shaded spot in your tank that your LEDS can't get to. It also give you a blanket of light over your tank. You will also gain about 200 par adding the 4 bulb t5 hybrid as well. All tanks are different, but definitely a great addition to any tank.
