Reefer ATO Conversion to Refugium

I am converting my 2 gal ATO container on my reefer 250 into a refugium where I can house some macro's and pods. My question is should my output line dump into my skimmer chamber or back into the chamber that houses my return pump? I'm thinking return chamber, but I'm not sure.

Back into skimmer chamber be use you will get micro bubbles if you go strait into return chamber
