Reefer Sump valved downpipe leak

My 2016 Redsea Reefer 350 has leak around the sump valved downpipe, the leak seems not on the connection. Any suggestions or do I just replace it? I don’t use plumbing tape between the threaded connector, which has worked fine for 8 yrs. Thanks

If it's minor leave it. The salt creep will plug it eventually. Minor is like anything like a few drops a minute.

I bought O ring from redsea and I think this fixed the problem. It’s interesting that I have been using without O rings for both downflow pipes without issue for 8 years.
