Reefer250 and UV sterilizer

Hi All,

I am looking to add a UV sterilizer to my reefer 250. I was hoping to get some advice on fitting it with limited space. I have zero experience fitting them so I was hoping someone could recommend how they would add one. I have about 7inches between the back wall and tank. Photos of the gap and my sump area( excuse the mess please).

You best bet may be an external UV filter mounted on the wall in your sump like this one:

I installed the Coralife 6X UV sterilizer on a small shelf in my sump. You can probably get by with the 3X based on the size of your aquarium.

I also have limited space. Mine is behind my sump and I use a small DC pump for water flow through it. Ignore the wire mess... was a heavy cleaning day and was removing equipment.
