Digging the Rastas! Have you been to the new aquarium store across the street from the wharf? You have a great collection of corals. Did you have to go all the way to San Jose to pick them out?

Thanks...yes I have been to that store...they really dont have much for salt...I get my corals from all over the country...Who is this? would love to meet another reefer from Monterey

Luis. Im brand new to SW. Just started my 29g build. With the MBA being here youd think we would have lots of LFS.

Yeah we are in need of a quality shop BAD...I always have people tell me I need to start one up in this area...its a lot of work though..lol..anyways shoot me a pm and we should meet up sometime...you should stop by...I know I have some stuff on my frag racks you may like for you new tank.

Definitely need a great store! I went to Aquarium Concepts in Dublin a few weeks back when I went to pick up a 15g tall. Man that place is bad butt! As for any frags in my tank, I'm at least a month away from adding anything. I'll be working on the plumbing this weekend and hopefully starting the cycle.

Yeah for the most part… At least up until a few days ago… I ended up having a big problem after starting to try out that acro power stuff… It created a huge swing in my tank and I'm hoping that everything turns out okay but because my alk droped three points within a few days... Keeping my fingers crossed…

Thanks that one has been a battle but its finally starting to give back some love… That jawbreaker is huge... Can't really think of something to compare to… Maybe one of those small mini CDs...

I don't remember exactly when I got it but I know I've had it for a while now… At least a year maybe a year and a half or so… It started growing well for me at first… Then my tank ran into a few issues and I almost lost it… It entirely browned out and stayed that way for a few months… Then one day it just started to take off again...

Dam I cant believe over all this time I we haven't sent each other anything....we need to fix that...right now I am giving my tank a break, cause of this dam acro power the tank had a major alk swing and I lost a few of my best things...I am so mad at myself for dumping something in my tank that it really didn't need...I always preach to just keep it simple and look what I do...almost crash my tank for a NEW unproven product...the stuff worked amazing to....just to bad it causes those crazy swings...with all the wild stuff I keep swings can wipe out everything...as as soon as the tank gets stable we will set something up. Cheers!

LOL I hear you on the keep it simple... I'm actually gonna try a new unproven product starting tomorrow myself... It's called Nualgi, from what I've read it's pretty awesome so far, we'll see.
