I am using the old ones off my old 72....I heard the XHO's are really bright though...I have been wanting to try them....
Thanks! the tank is a custom 120 or something close to 120...I have a decent amount of rock but in the past I have done minimal scapes and didn't see much of a difference...I posted a pic of the left side a page back...you can gt an idea of the amount of rock from that....ill post it again for you...Nice photography as usual.
How much liverock do have in this system and what is your display size?

Over the past for years with T5's I've tried a few different combos and this one is by far my favorite… When they came out with the Coral + bulb it made a huge difference... My real trick with them is the reefbrights... They added a lot of the crisp blue look that helps add pop to the washed out blue plus... I have a second one laying around that I still need to add and that will improve the color a ton... I've been trying to figure out a way to mounted to the other side of the light fixture without it blinding your eyes when you look at the tank.

Thanks bro! you must be busy I barely see you post anymore...how is your tank doing I havent seen a thread update for a while, I hope all is well..yeah the tank has its goods and bad days you know how that is...right now most of my stuff is looking great for just recovering from a bad ALK swing...it dropped 3 points in a few days from that acro power stuff.....and my chalices are on a recovery mode from some bacteria disease that was attacking just my chalices...it took a lil long to figure out that it was two things which made it harder to trouble shoot... but once I figured what it all was everything is bouncing back crazy fast...something like this a few years ago may have crashed my tank due to lack of knowledge...Thank God I was quick to notice the problems before it was too late :bigsmile:..anyways thanks for posting it always good to hear from you.
