Decided to start a build thread since I'm a couple of days away from adding water. I've been in the hobby for awhile and this is the first tank I'm posting on R2R. Plans for this will be 95% SPS with a few zoas and chalice on the bottom. It will be bare bottom.

FILTRATION: Bubblemagus curve 7
Will be adding reactors as needed to keep nutrients low

LIGHTING : 36" ATI 8 bulb dimable with a Reefbrite XHO added on

WATER MOVEMENT: 2 Vortech MP40QD

I had a curve 7 on my 90 gallon. I went with the curve 9 on my 200. They suck until they are broken in..which can take 3-4 months. They constantly overflow, even at the lowest setting. That being said, once they break in, they pull out a ton of crap.

I do a vinegar bath on all my new equipment... That usually helps with break in periods.

What are the dimensions of the skimmer section of your sump? How high does the water run in that section?

Now that is a sleek looking tank! So are you leaving the zip ties on or will you do you plan on binding the rock in a different way?

Thanks.... Gonna leave the zip ties and use strategic placement of sps to hide them... Fingers crossed [emoji16]

Very nice... Getting ready to build cabinets for the sides like u did, need mine a little taller. I only have 3 blue reef chromis and a CUC in it at the moment. Been busy with other projects

Thanks the cabinets were built out of necessity to store electronics and wiring. although the stand is fairly large it's easy to run out of room.
The cabinets also make a nice viewing/work bench.
