Out of curiosity: What kind of evaporation rates do you see with that much open surface area?

It’s weird, I thought I’d see a lot. Especially bc it’s technically in the garage and not Air Conditioned (yet). Maybe 4 gallons every 3-4 days.

So HUGE UPDATE!! Some of you may know, but I have an 80 gallon rimless DT in my House, wellllll I’m gonna be moving that to the garage and setting it up as a frag tank, I will eventually have another DT in my house but for now this is the route I’ve chosen and I’m so psyched!! The tank will be moved this weekend as I’ve just finished the stand and plumbing..here’s where I’m at!

I’ve plumbed it into my frag tub that’s already out there. Can’t wait guys! Stay tuned for the big update sometime Saturday afternoon!

LOL! That’s actually my next job! Im going to build a closet around it and put a nice wood barn door on it! And yes any customers can do laundry for free if you buy 3 or more frags!!

Yes I’m definitely concerned with it. I wish it wasn’t there but alas, it is. I will be wrapping it with plastic or something soon

Thanks for following both of my builds! I was sad to see it go as well but I feel like as I’ve evolved as a reefer my passion has turned towards the propagation of corals especially the small Polyp stony variety! I will eventually have another reef style DT, so look out for that build, however right now I’m looking forward to this next chapter really educating myself in what makes these beautiful specimens of Sps really thrive!
