ReeferReefer's Nuvo 30l

One of my big btas just split too. Seems like the transfer is making them split.

That leather is incredible! Looks like its already too large for that tank though lol
Yeah fragging might be in order soon. The tank is going to be moved in 2 weeks so I'm going to let the tank settle a bit before I go in there with a razor and start chopping things up.

The toadstool seems happy enough for now.

DANG! if youre trying to get rid of a BTA id be interested in purchasing!

Don't frag it!!!! Too nice of a leather to frag. I did that back in the day when I had one that got too big and I regretted it very quickly... :(

I forget, are you setting up a bigger tank after the move? Or just keeping the 30L running? If a bigger tank is in the cards keep that leather whole!

I am keeping the 30L. Just moving it to the new house. Might keep the leather as a single piece just for the impact. We will see if it starts getting more smushed lol.

I just downsized from the 90 and I want to run a nano now. My first reef was a 10 gallon so I guess I'm going back to my roots in a way. I love how full the tank feels already. My 90 always felt empty, mostly because I couldn't afford to fill it with coral.

That's my fear. I know they can recover well but I would hate to lose the great shape on this guy.

It's my favorite coral and it's been with me for almost 4 years. When my poor husbandry killed other corals, this guy just grew and grew.

My entire tank is based around the animals I have had success with. I might not have the most technically difficult corals but I just want to thriving reef tank. I like the movement of softies and anemones anyways.

Just a quick update.

I'm going out of town for the 4th and won't be back till Sunday. Thankfully the system is on auto pilot so there are not really any challenges with me leaving. Funny how easy it is to keep a fish tank with no fish [emoji6]

Bonus shots of my messy filtration compartment. I'm hoping to get it more organized after the move.

The nems look happy. Beautiful tank!
May I ask what is your light setting?

Tank is doing fine after the long weekend. You can see all 7 BTAs today.

As you can see my diatom bloom is in full effect as well. Need to clean the glass for the first time lol.

Did a bit of maintenance tonight. Cleaned the glass, cleaned the skimmer cup, stirred up the detritus, changed filter floss and fragged my sinularia. The sinularia has been facing increasingly worse tissue necrosis so I cut off all the black parts and tossed the frags into my rubble bin.
