ReeferRoo's Custom 125 (My First Tank)

So all the corals are in and getting accustomed to their new home. Everything is doing well. I currently have a lot in the sand bed and will be permanently locating everything over the next 2 weeks.

Thats being said i was having and issue with one of my Radian G4 Pros and Ecotech customer service was fantastic and sent me a replacement light under warranty, so finally swapped it out this weekend and also decided to buy another G4 pro for the center. Set the lights, ran the cabling, decided all of my cabling needed to be redone...so did that and decided to use the 10 gallon trigger systems reservoir i had vs the 5 gallon bucket i was using for the ATO.

I also gave up using the WXM module for controlling my Radians. Moved everything over to the reeflink. Much more functionality (lunar modes, acclimation timers, and easier to override for showing off the tank.

Here are some updated pics...

Yes...i know...i have to clean out the cup in the skimmer.

Are you going to run any macro algae in the sump? Looking good. :)

Thanks! and I am thinking I will plant some marco algae in the fuge, the cheato doesn't really tumble so planting will be an aesthetically pleasing move. Just need to find a good source for a variety of Macro Algae.

So far he has been...friendly...Also got a pistol shrimp...that is still in hiding.

It was a little sod for changing the scape, the largest rock it moved was fist size and caused havoc.

Gotcha. My rock is glued solid, some rubble around the edges but nothing that can cause a slide, thanks for the warning!

Great setup! I'm in the early stages of putting a 75G together and have already benefited from your thread. Thanks!

Bayer Coral Dip -

I had done lots of reading and eventually with lots of ranges in concentration.

Ultimately I settled on the concentration ratio @Bulk Reef Supply did in FAQ#26.

https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/video/view/faq-26-using-bayer-as-a-coral-dip-what-recipe-do-we-use/

Summation - 400 ML to 2.5 Gal
I usually have about 1/2 gallon (3785 ML or 2 QT) in my dipping reservoir and I add 80 ML of Bayer.

Dipping containers Used -

Easy to Clean, I have 4
1 for dip
1 for rinse
1 for sitting after rinse
1 spare for moving RO water or whatever.
was hesitant to buy at first due to cost but would buy again, awesome containers.

We buy syringes bulk...1 ML, 5 ML, 10 ML, 100 packs for 10-15 bucks for all sorts of uses with the tank and when we cant find one of the kids meds syringes...lol...we use fresh ones for the kids.

Bayer we use -
