Reefers Worst Nightmare

That’s grouse. Exactly why I’d never own a big glass tank... good luck with a fix but my question would be when will another one let go...
Yeah, because poorly built acrylic tanks don't fail. :/

OP: the glass is the most expensive thing here. Find a local tank builder and have them rebuild the tank.

Thats a used tank, I wonder if seller knew of issue?

Large rimless tanks scare the heck out of me! I would just never trust that to hold anyway.

@aquasport24 that sucks! I was stoked for you! I was watching your posts on the FB groups here in SA. If you need some help HMU I'm in the far west side of town.
Thanks bro, i will reseal and add 4ea. Cross braces. I don't care about the look anymore..SAFETY FIRST .

I don’t know what your relationship is with the seller, but if they have the receipt, and are willing to go to bat for you to fix this, then that may be your best bet. Have them contact the manufacturer and see what they can do. Sorry this happened to you

You have to be an Original owner and using their manufacturer's stand for the warranty to covers. Found out after the fact. Only thing the manufacturer offered is to using my own money to crated and ship to them for a $400 repair.
