Has anyone tried this? I cant find alot of reviews besides marine depot and did not really find anything on here about it. It looks super interesting and for $14 I may give it a go.

Not heard of it before. Did you try it out?
I have not, I think I am going to go with selcon as that has a proven track record and has more ingredients. Also can be mixed into coral food.
I have used it, been using it for about 3 months now. I use it for both fresh and saltwater fish. I have seen only slight improvement in growth but improved health and color. It also seems to have no effect in nutrients when used as directed! Which is great as I hate foods and supplements that seem to be heavy in po4. Would be a good test to put against the old Selcon.

Selcon vs growth hack would be a great comparison. I wonder who on R2R could do a test like this. I am fairly new to the hobby and going to start a desktop nano with easy softorals (zoas probably), or lps like acans. If I could just get by by adding the growth hacks to the tank rather than reefroids I would gladly to keep the nutrients down.

Funny! I was just looking into this product, and I find this recent thread discussing it :)

I am not sure they are directly comparable, though - Growth hack is supposed to be a probiotic that improves a fish's digestive and immune systems, while selcon is a vitamin supplement that adds nutrients that are frequently in short supply in captive diets. Since they serve different purposes, I am going to wager that if they are both effective they should have a synergistic effect and improve fish health more than either product alone.
