Reefi Uno Repairable?

I have someone who wants to sell me a Reefi UNO. I don’t know if this is the original or the 2.0. Says the Fan is making noise. Also would this light be okay over a 29 gallon Biocube, with a glass top? How does the arm mount, attach?

It should still be under warranty. You can ask them how long the warranty is good for. The mounting kit attaches to the back of the aquarium but if you don't want to do that you can hang it or mount it to a wall.

All Reefi lights have a 3-year warranty, you just need a copy of the sales invoice. The lights come with a wire hanging kit or you can buy a tank mount from Reefi for $55. Great light, it is like a power of an xr30 in an xr15 size.

He wasn’t being honest about what happened with the light, so I didn’t purchase it.

Better to find out before the purchase. Bummer about the dishonesty though.
