The biggest for me is that point right before your tanks a year old and everything has been stable the past 3-4 months and BOOM something goes wrong. Most new guys quit there. I feel like its a make or break point in the hobby lol.

I agree with expense. The electricity bill is ridiculous. The utility keeps sending us letters that compares us to our neighbors, and it is humiliating.

Convincing my wife that I needed to cut a hole in the wall so we could view the tank from the living room. (Tank is in the garage )

No challenge keeping the reef at home. Took it to work and set it up next to my desk instead
