Reefing '16 Goals

With Christmas fast approaching New Years and 2016 aren't far behind so, with that said what are your reefing and tank goals for next year? Keep going with the current plans? Starting anew? Any nice fish or corals you hope to add? Let's hear what you're hoping for in 2016!

Adding 2 T5's and a mp 40 qd would be my gear goals.

Coral goals - finally get a Scoly, add and keep some nice Acro's and Millie's.

Fish goals - add two more fish, one being a leopard wrasse.

More then anything though continue learning and keeping my tank stable. This year I learned the hard way not to always trust a test kit and to double check things before making any big corrections.

Have you tried Dr Tim's Waste Away? That is what finally killed mine.

Nope. Never heard of it. I will look into it. I want to get away from using gfo. With gfo I can keep it away. Without it starts coming back everytime.

Having a "real" reef tank (with a sump and skimmer) for the first time in 2 1/2 years.

Collecting Acros again. I was so paranoid of getting AEFW that I haven't introduced any new SPS into my tank/s since around 2007. The SPS I have now are ones I have had before. I feel confident I can keep the AEFW out now with my dipping regimen.

Finally learning to use an Apex controller.

Getting a few new fish to go in the new tank

The big build finished, but not rushing it. Plan to have several QT tanks for fish and frags.

I want to build a 36x26x24 tanks with a Synergy overflow and get back into the Acro game......but that all has to wait until we close on our new home...maybe next week, if we're lucky enough.

For me it's building the 300. I've wanted a 300 since I first got into the hobby, and now that we have the house where I can do it, I can't seem to scratch the itch fast enough. Though man, as good as my tank is doing, I really hate to touch it.
