Reefing log book?

Does anyone here keep a reefing related log book? If so, what info do you keep track of?

Anyone use any mobile apps?

I use a regualr binder and right down everything from water changes to test results helps to maintain tank running and if problem arises i can see what i changed

I have a notebook I use to log my info. I log test results, bulb changes, carbon/gfo changes, any major changes to the system (ie new equipment) and any issues that may be going on. I also keep track of any livestock I add to the tank and who it came from.

Spreadsheet here, allows me to graph thing also if I want to look at trends.

I used to keep a log book when I first starting reefing. I logged specific gravity, dKH, calcium and magnesium. They got an app for that?

Been using AquaPlanner Pro app for 3+yrs now. Very nice, love the notification feature.

Only problem with Aquaplaner is that it's not available for Android.

I also keep track of weekly testing, new salt testing when I open it. If I add or change anything to system. Like Rob I had good intentions of keeping track of coral but I haven't been so good at that. It is a very good idea and very helpful to me.

I use and recommend AquaticLog. You can log entries via the web, or use the iOS or Android app. I have a Pro membership but might fall back to the basic free plan as I'm not utilizing the pro features.

You can also view other member's tanks, and they can view yours, make comments, follow you, etc, so it has a nice "social" aspect to it as well.

I use Aquarimate (as suggested by Josh) and like it a lot. I like being able to graph out parameters to see how they've done over time.

I kept a log for years, parameters, additions, water changes, bulb changes etc... Now I just write water changes and carbon, GFO replacement on the calendar

I have a note pad and record all the parameters I test and the date. I might try a datalogging app or site eventually.

I use Apex Fusion for almost everything now. I had an Excel file before but it's much more easier to concentrate all of it in Apex anyway. I put all water changes, new fish or fish loss, new equipment and testing also. Works great for me! :bigsmile:
