Reefing NIGHTMARES! Have you had them?

Here's another fun Halloween post (at least I hope it will be).

Have you ever had a reefing nightmare? Like an ACTUAL dream/nightmare about something that happened to your tank only to wake up to the relief that it was all just a dream. I have... Share yours with us below! This should be an interesting read.

One of mine (yes, I've had several, but this was probably the worst and most vivid) was a dream where I had a beautiful flourishing 180g reef. but then as I was showing it to someone, I noticed the floor was wet...like VERY wet! I began checking for leaks in the plumbing. I checked to see if I'd left the RODI filling (have done that plenty of times IRL

)...nothing... then I noticed it...a small drip from the front pane on the bottom right corner of the tank... The drip got worse...and then I watched as the front pane peeled away and came crashing down in our living room as a wave of fish, corals, and saltwater hit the floor... I went into a panic!!

And...sat straight up in bed realizing it was just a dream... My wife wasn't amused.

I had a dream the other night that my son (17 months) was running around the house, grabbed a broom, and managed to hit the tank causing the front panel to shatter and dump all 60 gals of water plus fish and coral on the floor...

I know I've had a reef nightmare, but I can't remember the details. I just have my recurring, "I haven't studied for a final" dream...been out of school for 10 years lol

Uggghh i have the same type all the time... its always a little different but the end is the same...i come around the corner to see the tank empty of water fish flopping all over. Massive clams crushing under thier own weight corals sliming up as they dry out.....
