Reefing USA Coral Shows

Has anyone been to one of the coral shows hosted by Reefing USA? It seems like they've been putting on shows around the country, but I haven't heard much feedback. There's a show coming to the DC area this weekend, and I'm trying to decide whether to go. Anyone have any positive/negative experience they can share?

Yes! I just saw there is one in Charlotte, NC this coming weekend. It would be a little bit of a drive for me, so I'm wondering if it's worth it.

They are hosting a show in Charlotte this weekend, and from the looks of the vendors its going to be Lit!

So one of my local Facebook groups had a long discussion on this. Ours (sept 25) is a vendor only event (no hobbyists allowed to trade/sell in the show). They also found Reefing USA is owned by Eye Candy Coral. Many of our local hobbyists are boycotting this or are going to be in the parking lot for trading prior to the show

Not sure which part your questioning lol

If your questioning the vendor only aspect, that’s just a show rule. Only vendors are allowed to sell at the show.

If your questioning why they are boycotting it, it’s because they don’t like that local hobbyists won’t be allowed to have a table in the show.
