So my 150 has been an uphill battle every since it got wet.

Crazy algae outbreaks, dosing pump malfunction causing levels to be all over the place, lots of SPS death...etc.

So I'm currently still scratching my head as to an issue as to why I can't get SPS to thrive. I finally fixed the issue with the dosing pump. Current levels are

Alk - 7.8
Cal - 400
Mag - 1440
PO4 - 0.0 - 0.04 (Red Sea Algae test, colors seem similar)
NO3 - undetectable by Red Sea

What I am seeing alot of is very slow tissue necrosis of SPS, some starting from the base up and some starting from the tips of SPS. The issue is its random pieces in my tank and not all one type. In addition with these same pieces there is little to no PE and some of the same types of acros have great PE only an inch or two away.

I am very confused and not sure what to do next

I had a better succes with 1-2 PPM Nitrates and .03-.08 phosphates.

I had a los issues trying 0 nutrients on the tank.

I'm really not trying to keep a low nutrient tank. auto feeder feeds Neptune crossover 3 times a day with reef chili, I also feed a few big chunks of LRS each day. AquaForest foods at night.

What size tank, what is your filtration biological and chemichal?
Refugium?

What Bioload? Size and quantity of fish?

How long has these SPS been in your tank then? Are they from the same supplier? could they be unhealthy before they reached?

By the way how long have you been running your tank?

Tank will be setup a year in March.

Corals are from all different vendors and hobbyists.

PO4 was .03 tonight on Hanna checker
