Reefkeeper 2 help!

Hey guys I recently bought a RK2 and thought it'd be a good idea to try and update the firmware. Well it wasn't. I plugged the unit into my computer and it wouldn't connect to my reef or the updating software. So I then unplugged the unit from my computer and now the screen is completely blank and won't let me control anything! I've had this thing for 2 weeks, so any help to get this back in working order will be amazing!

I apologize for this question, but did you follow their instruction explicitly? HERE are the download instructions. They use to have a forum just for RK2's on the DA website, but it would appear that it has disappeared. I would still try contacting them and seeing if they could answer your query.

Too be honest I thought I was doing it correctly but I realized I didn't. Then it wouldn't connect so I unplugged it from my computer and it all went down from there.

It might be stuck in boot loader. Try searching it on DA website

I checked for that an i couldnt seem to find any results for it? Not sure what else to do besides cut my loses and buy something else?

The myreef software was not designed for the RK2. The RK2 connects to a computer with a serial connection because it is at least 10 years old.

Yeah I have emailed them and only got one reply back and that was Thursday of last week. But it did come with an adapter to be able to use a USB, also DA did in the one and only email I recieved tell me to use my reef so I'm not sure. Is there any way to fix this?
