Unfortunately it appears that digital aquatics is gone. Their website and the download to myreef 2.0 is gone as well. As @hwntunda said above, I dug into my laptop and found the installation files and uploaded them to my google drive for just such an occasion

Just your SID V2 and a rj12 female splicer

Nope, just the sid v2 interface cable. It basically has a phone jack on one end and a usb on the other. The net module is just so you can access it from the internet instead of direct connecting to it.

Try posting in the California forum if any reefer has the reef keeper that would either sell or let you borrow to program your reefkeeper.

What about the warranty?

D/A being defunct is something BRS should probably mention?

I’m not sure I want to keep the RKL I just bought now. Knowing there was no support would have influenced my decision to buy one in the first place.

It’s my fault I guess for not researching. I just didn’t think to make sure the company still exists before buying their product.

Great post guys, I had no idea they were going out of business. Just look on BRS and everything is on sale for digital aquatics.... biggest problem i can think of is the temp probe, I've had digital aquatics temp probe go bad and they are pretty proprietary.... might be a concern.

RKL is a good cheap controller for lights and heaters. I have used them since 2009 with no issues. Like Paulguns stated the only thing that might go wrong is the temp probe. I have have had one go bad in nine years and I have 3 RKL's. I have always used the head unit to program everything

I’m sure I can get it going with just the head unit but I wanted the software too.

The Apex Jr is just so much more $. I’m not 100% sure what I’ll do yet. I may end up just sending it back. I hate the idea of not having any support from the company if something goes wrong.

Agreed, the whole reason I went with ReefKeeper is because it can do essentially the same things the Apex can do, at a fraction of the cost.
