ReefKeeper Lite & PC4 help please

I tried to join the DA support forum on Monday and my account has yet to be approved so I'm hoping someone here can help me with my question.

I bought the RKL and PC4 used. It still had the last owners settings (controlling vortechs) for all 4 outlets. I need this for temperature control on my QT. I'd like it to control 2 heaters and a fan. Turn my light on and off if possible but my main concern is temperature.

I've done a factory reset on the display, with the PC4 connected. It went through the motions but when I went into modules all outlets were still assigned. I've read around and cant seem to find how to reset the PC4 and reassign the outlets for my purposes.

I've downloaded all the pdf. manuals and they don't really go into that. Is there something I'm missing here? OR is this unit faulty and not actually doing a factory reset?


Thanks for any input, hopefully somebody can help me. I've got a 40g with oversized heaters and some high end fish. I'd hate to lose them all to a malfunction, specially when I have the proper equipment on hand and just cant figure out how to apply it!

I purchased my rkl used. The only way I found that I could rename channels on the pc4 was to get myreef working. I was never able to completely reset the thing. I had to manually remove every timer and alarm threw Myreef.

Also I tried to use their support forum but it took 9 days to approve my post. I figured out my problem on day 2. Then I posted how I fixed my problem(after being approved). A mod still answered my OP even after post number 2 was a "problem solved" post.

Yeah I was surprised at how long that is taking. Must be a very small forum, which usually means very inactive. I'll look into myreef. I got an email saying I needed my reef from DA, but not much info besides that.

literally follow word for word
trick is you need to be selecting the pc4 to set a timer and function which is what confused me for the longest time

Nice! I hope my daughter will one day want a tank when she's old enough, fingers crossed.

Smite I have activated your account on the DA forum. Not sure why it took so long. I try to get on to help with that when the DA guys get busy but I have been traveling a lot. Usually it is taken care of by DA support guys.

Thanks Dave! I just saw the link in my email, must have missed it.

Can someone tell me how to connect my module to my CPU? I downloaded the RK2.0 but anything I click pulls up what looks like a Contact Support ticket?

When I open RK2.0 the home page has a few things about new equipment coming out and a download link for Rk2.0 . I'm thinking maybe I need to try downloading it again.

Sorry, not the best at figuring this stuff out. Since I bought it used I have no instructions on it.
