Im trying to get myreef 2.0 to communicate to my RKL. When i open myreef thru my SID V2, it only shows update screen. on the SID Screen, it shows REVISION 02.09 of 02.06

When I press UDPATE, In red, it shows SID-1-0206 and I have updated to 02.08 and 02.09 and I still cannot see anything on the left bar for hardware/graphs. {I cannot find the SID-1-0206 hex file in the download from the sticky. Maybe this is the reason?}

My unit is a Reefkeeper lite with the PC4, Display and the itemp probe:
Myreef 2.0 is on build 83
My PC4 is on version 02.04
On my display MENU/SYSTEM/INFO-> SHOWS 02.40
My SID revision (when plugged in) shows REVISION 02.09 of 2.06

The SID is plugged into the RKL, along with the display screen.

1. why is my SID not communicating with my RKL? Is my SID on the correct version 02.08 or 02.09 (tried both) but stills shows needing Update in RED. Should it be 02.06 and where do I get this hex file?
2. how do I update the Display firmware as it is not showing up on my systems left bar?
3. I believe my PC4 firmware is updated with newest at 02.04

Sorry for so many questions....Im new to this and cant seem to get it working.

A quick look at my RKL shows
RKL-2.08
PC4-2.04
SLX-2.09
SID-2.08
MyReef-build 83
The display info is 2.08, the same as RKL in MyReef.

That's what mine says and they could possibly not be the most recent.

Is this a new controller to you? Are you trying to connect the SID/computer to this controller for the first time or have you successfully connected before? Are you using a different computer to connect than you have used before?
The hex files are stored in a folder called digital Aquatics under your Documents directory.

Thanks for checking. Yes, its a new controller for me. I got the RKL and display used and had to buy the SID V2 seperately. I believe the SID V2 came from the RK Elite.

Im connecting the SID/Computer to the RKL. I was able to successfully update the PC4 by turning it off while myreef/SID was running. So I believe my SID/Computer is reading correctly.

Now where is puzzling is the display info shows 02.40 and my SID in myreef shows 02.09 of 02.06. The head display does not show up on myreef when connected. Only shows SID and when I turn off the PC4, it will show the PC4 with version 2.04

So I am not sure why the display is not showing up on my computer. Is there a process to get the display corrected to 2.08? I tried turning off the PC4 and still did not show the display unit.

I'm not much of an expert on this stuff, maybe @n2585722 will help out a little.
My first thought is that you don't have the hex files on your computer to match the updates. Check your Documents directory for the Digital Aquatics folder. Just guessing but I suspect that they may not be there and you will need to get them to update everything correctly. This would not have been a problem when DA was in business because it would have gone and gotten the files.
I'll try and post a pic of my update screen so you can compare and see what it looks like.
Do you have the manual for the RKL? If not you should be able to download it.

The Product Code on the update screen should be the name of the folder in the Digital Aquatics folder that contains the hex file.

To program and make changes you need to click on the module you want to work with like the PC4. Make sure the PC4 is switch on to program and needs to be off to update. Just click on the module you want up in the upper left side of the screen.
