I wouldn't recommend picking up whatever is left in stock. That just does not make good monetary sense - if that is the sort of thing you do. If you are looking for something lower than Neptune or GHL, the larger fish, then Reef Angel is a good product. I have the RA+, not the Star (new model) and it has been going strong now for about 6 years. Entry point is a solid price, good assortment of goodies to start, and has in some cases better features than Apex (tide, locations, and other custom libraries like storms). Only draw back is that you need to have a bit of understanding of code. Either to write your own or modify others. Pretty good community which is why I keep mine running today for lighting while I moved rest of stuff to Neptune.
Other than that I'd recommend just saving your coffee money here or there or any other vice money and put in the next controller kitty. Notice I didn't recommend anything because, well, to each their own. But my advise or take away is don't throw more money on a product and/or company that is no longer in business.
