Reefkinetics Reefbot

Since its cloud based, maybe something is up with the servers? I had 2 failed tests earlier. They appeared to have went through the full process, but both said no response received. I've another test attempting right now, if it doesn't work then sending in a support ticket.

I tried running a test and green leds haven’t come on it is still blue ? Still says test in progress on App. While I was away earlier (maybe 2 hours )I tried to run a MG test twice and it failed .. ? It could’ve been that I need to add more regent ,so I done that and Try again to run a MG test . It has not turned green and start the procedure? Been about 15 mins . Never had this happen before.
please send us your device serial on [email protected]
Thanks,

Mine was froze the app said it was in progress and gave estimate time but the ReefBot wasn’t doing anything. I didn’t want to disrupt it as I read not to but I ended up unplugging it for 30 seconds and. Plugging it back in which it then worked

Is there any way for you guys to make the nitrate test kits for API magnetic stir for a lot longer before the machine sucks it up with the syringe?
we already stirring for enough time, unfortunately if the user didn't shake the reagents in their original bottles before emptying them in our bottles the results wont be accurate. The API nitrate bottle 2 needs to be vigorously shaken for at least 5-6 minutes before adding it to the glass vials to give a correct result.

Cheers!

Awesome thank you I just know that I installed my API test kit and each sequential test the nitrates have went down and the only thing I could think of was that it wasn't getting mixed well enough I vigorously shook both bottles for 10 minutes before putting them into the vials as well. I also have a buddy that also has a reef bought and his readings have been 0 nitrates with the API kit but when he manually test they are 20.

Kindly check with Maya our chemist to help you with this. Please email her on [email protected]

Y’all should manually run the API NO3 test. I ran mine and it read 5, then a day later at 0ppm. Salifert reading between 20 and 50 both days. The reefbot is doing fine, the API kit isn’t. I have some TM NO2/NO3 refill kits coming from Germany. I’ll try to let everyone know how they work.

My buddy and myself both have a another bottle sitting there that we are going to compare our test to for the next several days. For the most part they have been 100% accurate with the reef bot.

Ok good, reefbot is doing its job it seems then. Thanks for comparing and sharing!
