LFS has a bunch of these over a big pennisula.

The entire tank looks pinkish. It's the most unattractive tank in the shop by far.

I have talked with the folks at the store, etc. but it I'm still finding it impossible to tell if what I see is because of various characteristics the tank (including an algae problem they are fighting) or because that's how the ReefLED 90's tend to look.

Any reactions from those who own a ReefLED 90 or have relevant experience?

its a more purple spectrum i have one well selling it now because i need more light but yea meh not for me

i dont have hardly any algae from it, just not like my radions

The algae problem they have in that tank is unrelated to the light. It's a new tank etc., they told me the story there. But I'm stuck trying to see if others find these lights a bit "tinted" as well. It just seems like it's the dang lights, and that "tone" would completely defeat the purpose of having a tank in the first place for me. It's hideous.

i mean i dont hate them i wont say that just right spread for me, and i can notice purple bias i like more radion blue

My lhs also had them on display and I was totally disappointed. In my opinion the ReefLED is similar to the noopysche with programming functions the Noopysche lacked.

I also have two 90's on my 100 gallon and they work great given their price point. There are only two channels you can adjust via the app, a white and a blue channel. I run mine at equal intensity which results in the nice daylight blue you see on the majority of reef tanks.

As an experiment I've tried running the lights with blue turned down to 0% and it resulted in a very unattractive yellow hue to the tank that had me immediately turning the blues back on. I'm guessing your LFS is just running their lights with whites turned up and blues down.

well I hope its just that tank because i bought 3 of these for 2 tanks and since I'm new to the hobby I wouldnt know the difference.

That's interesting. I've seen many tanks with reefleds on them and none of them look pink.

Most people complain that they're too blue. I don't mind the color at all.

I have 2 of these over a 60g and haven’t noticed any pinkish colours, I find my corals to grow a lot with them
