So I recently upgraded to a bigger tank and also a much larger skimmer, an orca 250! It’s a beast and when it isn’t overflowing it produces a bunch of skimate. First any tips on adjusting this thing? I just keep fiddling with it and just when I think I have it set and fall asleep it overflows! The standpipe is hard to dial in in my opinion. Can I just add a gate valve to the output for a finer control and then open the main line? It’s feed by a mag5 pump into an offline refugium. Wanna guess how many times I’ve overwhelmed the refugium? Anyway thinking of putting a gate valve where I have a circle drawn in the pic. Thoughts would be appreciated!
