So my pump seal failed and jammed the pump last week. I order a seal that night. It was suppose to be here on Friday. But got lost and didn’t show up until today. I installed the seal 3 hours ago. I know the thicker the bead of silicone the longer the cure time. Well since you only lightly silicone the seal. Do you think it will be fine to install tonight?
This hammerhead runs my closed loop, and my display has no powerheads. So my tank has gone a week Without significant flow. Corals seem a bit annoyed the only flow is the return pump. Which I did crank up. But the tank is a 135g 6ft long tank. My return pump is only a 2000gph.
Granted I guess on more day isn’t that big of a deal. But it would be nice to have the pump reinstall and running.

So thoughts?
