Hello, First post on this forum. Took me long enough. I've been reading this forum so long and been in the hobby for years, I don't know why it took me this long to join.
I'm about to start a new build thread for a SCA 90 gallon cube and before I do I have a question about the return pump. I have the ability to put together a basement sump and plan on buying a used 60 x 24 x 20 acrylic sump and new Reeflo Suntail 4100GPH External Pump from a guy on CG. I know this is a lot of pump for a 90 so I plan on plumbing a manifold along with a separate 40g fuge. The return will go up about 8 ft up to the tank. So my question is would I hurt the pump if I dial the flow back if it's too much for my 90g? I wasn't sure how these pumps handle back pressure.
