Reefmat killing all phosphate and copepods?

I have on multiple occasions tried to get copepods in my water but to No avail. Has anyone been succesful with having sustainable copepods population in a 90 or less reef tank, while having a mandarin dragonet and a reef mat?

Not had a reef mat but have both mandarin and a drogonet in my aquriam how old is your aquarium, I cycled mine empty for 8 months to build good pod population, , what does your mandarin eat? Or is this just about copepods please

I have the Reefmat500 on my Red Sea 200XL. No issues with copepods in my system. They are everywhere. Do you have a refugium?
