So, my 29 is finally done and gone. The 45 is setup and close to being ready to go. Been running about 3.5 weeks, but we're still working on some behind the scenes stuff. Here is the info.

Tank Specs/Equipment:
-Tank: 45 gallon cube from ZeroEdge (22" x 22" x 22")
-Sump: ZeroEdge ZC1
-Lighting: EcoTech Radion XR30w (Gen 1)
-Skimmer: Eshopps S-120 Cone Skimmer
-Controller: ReefKeeper Lite
-Flow: Vortech MP10
-Heater: ViaAqua 200 W Titanium
-Chiller: AquaEuro 1/13 HP

For my aquascape I used all dry rock (mixed of Fiji and Tonga from BRS) and then used live sand (Nature's Ocean Samoa Pink). I was able to use my chiller, vortech and reefkeeper from the 29 so that saved a little bit on the setup costs. Here are pics of the full tank and rock closeup. I'll try to do updates frequently on this one and my 39 as I have been lacking on that one as well.

Very nice setup, like the rock.

Thanks so much! For whatever reason I found the cube to be a hard tank to scape. I also normally set my rocks up out of the tank, glue/putty them and then put them in. In this case, I had trouble because the hole in the top was much smaller then my "design." It was an interesting process for sure :) It will be a LPS dominant tank though so I am happy with my results and the possibilities.

I think scaping is the hardest part of any tank lol, I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I spent. The tank I am fixing to setup is going to be lps dominant too. Good luck will be following along.

very cool. what's the fish list look like that'll compliment the LPS?

Thanks! Still working on that. Tentatively a pair of candy basslets and some rare clowns (Wyoming white, phantoms?). I'm open to suggestions though. I'm in to the rare for sure and like pairs. Having a hard time thinking of things for a 45 though.

Looks great!

Thanks rev! My inverts have passed the test so it may soon become the scoly recovery center. I have 2 that came to me poorly and need to be able to eat without shrimp or fish attacking ;) I'm excited to finally get something in there. I have definitely been testing my patience this time around.

I would go for Phantoms if picking from the two. but you already know I'm partial to Picasso's.

They are sweet. I have a pair of Wyoming's and love them. The Phatoms look cool in pics, but I haven't seen them in person to confirm their awesomeness. Maybe I could have you pick out some sweet picassos for me. Some of those are cooler than both

Nice tank Pops.

Thank you. So far so good. Not really any updates as I am taking it super slow. Have hermits and snails in and it is now officially the scoly recovery tank. I have some that came to me in bad shape so it's a great place to feed them without anyone bothering them and stealing their food. Trying to decide my next move as far as fish goes. Otherwise, being patient which is quite the struggle for me in this hobby ;)

How do you like the Skimmer so far? I've been looking to upgrade my Skimmer for my 29bc with sump and breifly looked into eshopps.? And as far as the clowns, get one of each and name them Yin and Yang that's what I wanted to do lol but they cost to much lol

I liked it enough to get two, but I don't know if I'd call it top if the line. It works really well and comes at a good price. Both times I was able to get it during a sale month so that worked out well. It gets all the junk out that it's supposed to and is easy. The first run in my 39 I was frustrated. Took forever to settled in. I think it was because I had puttied a lot. Second tank it worked like a charm right off the back. They are very sensitive to putty, but I heard that's true with a lot of skimmers. Overall I'd say I like it, not sure how it would compare to some of higher end. Another large factor was its small profile. I have limited room so the pump being integrated helped a lot.

:) about Picasso's.. I also wanted to see the Phantoms in person so when a LFS got them, I went iut of my way to see them in person. Almost pulled the trigger on a trio but held back. They look good in person IMHO. I'm tempted to do another clown/nem tank with Phantoms/Black Snowflakes. I'm in talks to a local breeder that's currently working on a few pairs that should produce them. I like to cherry pick my clowns. ;)
