Reefraft shots

Looks like their forums were possible hacked. That's probably why their site is giving malicious software errors.

If you're in the US and you got some, where did you get them from? (I want some! lol)

so ware are these coming from that we in the U.S dont have access lol Japan maybe?

Just like I posted above we do have access to them and there will be more comming to the market soon. However it will be limited supply on them.

zory lets see some pictures of yours...

These zoos and palys are some of the MOST VIBRANT colors that I have seen. They have real yellows, reds as well as many other insane colors in them.
Here you go but these are not the best pictures:

These are the same as you posted in the first post and your picture is right on the money how they look.

It's amazing how many times I've seen this statement over the last year or two :).

I know what you are saying, but this is true. They do come from Japan and anyone who knows something about stuff from Japan, knows how hard it is to get it.

yeah because it has to be shipped illegally to a wholesaler in the indo somewhere then shipped to Canada (or the US-but more likely to Canada) Not to disclose any names but I spoke with a guy about this topic the other day and he has a supplier in the Indo that advertises all of their Japan corals as "import" whatever-like "import micromussa" and he is gonna check the next order for zoas..I will post pics if they come in.

Tyree, do you have a waiting list with buyers for these zoas, because if so I would like to put my name on it.

If you can deal with them Roes marine world just listed some zoas from Japan, the look pretty good.

I would be very surprised if these actually came from Japanese waters. Whether they are or aren't is irrelevant as the zoa's themselves are not regulated by CITIES, its the live rock they are on that is restricted.

CITIES docs simply state "Scleractinia on rock" for Zoanthids and a wide range of other softies that you don't need CITIES for.

On a positive note I did see in person the zoa on the first page, first post, first pic, and they are amazingly beautiful. They were among a bunch of Zoa and Paly frags and they did truly stand out.

its not as hard to get Japanese Corals here in Canada, I have seen first hand wholesale lists from transhippers out of the indo that stock "non indo" coral, and if you speak with them they will tell you the coral is from Japan-it may not be "right" or "ehtical" but thats just the way it is. Where do you think all the pink and yellow rhizos come from-my lfs can order those colors every week and have no problem getting them if they wanted to. Because I didnt collect these zoas myself I cant say 100% they are from Japan but I can be at least confident in saying so
