Reef tank, Motorcycles , Hunting, Music equipment ..... and I'm thinking about getting my dive certification this summer.

I have had motorcycles since the late 70's, fish tank since the early 80's, reef tank since the early 90's.

Currently have a BMW 1200GS, a 350 Redsea reefer, a 40 gallon reef tank and a 90 gallon frag tank system.

Sorry too busy riding my bike and looking after my tanks to include any pictures.

We have a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special with all kinds of aftermarket updates. Also 300 gallon FOWLR, 55 gallon corner reef tank and 38 gallon FOWLR that we're slowing adding coral to. I'd put up a pic but I need to get back to work to pay for all this stuff!!

75 gallon mixed reef recovering from a crash, 60 gallon fresh water, and 2 street bikes one of which set up for drag racing... Unfortunately between rain and work I haven't gotten to use it much this year.

Well I've had the other kind too... Matter of fact I bought the green bike completely stock with a cast on my leg and made it into what it is now.

Personally, I view motorcycle riding as an unnecessarily risky practice. Seems to clash with the careful risk-averse mindset of the successful reefer. Maybe a yin yang thing for people? For myself, no thanks!

To bad because motorcycle rides remind me of the freedom and sensation of flight. Quite relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Both watching aquariums and riding provide relaxation for me. Anyone else experience something like this?

By the way good riders manage risk quite well.

Life is not risk averse in anyway shape or form. Life is managing risks just like the management of risks is necessary to have a successful reef tank.

35G planted freshwater

Other expensive hobbies include guitars, woodworking (I built both tank stands), a 66 VW beetle, 78 Triumph Spitfire... I honestly don't know how I do it.

There is something visceral about engaging all of your senses in a trip across country or down the drag strip. There is not a descriptor that can convey the feeling accurately for someone who doesn’t ride.

What... put vodka in my reef?
All these electrical cords around all this water.
100 gallons of saltwater on the floor. Flooded the house.

Now for the bad news.

Went into a traffic circle. (I hate traffic circles).
The was a LARGE oil spill all around the circle.
I hit it and swooooop... out goes the bike.

Im fine (for the most part) but my baby looks like it had a fight with a thousand cats.
