Has anyone here had experience ordering from Reefs2Go? Share your experience here.

I've haven't had any problems ordering from them I always order the pods from them

Ordered a couple times. No issues to speak of. Straight forward quick shippers. Products I have ordered have been as described.

First order all pods arrived dead. Replacements arrived half dead. There were NO Copepods in either order only Amphipods which my Scooter Dragonet doesn't or can't eat because they only come out at night and or are to big.
This was my only experience with them.

Thanks guys. I received a few fish from them today. Hippo Tang arrived DOA and the Royal Gamma Basslet is acting kind of sketchy. I'm assuming they'll take care of me, I just wanted to know if this was normal for them or just a terrible shipping experience for the fish.

The Flame Angel and Green Mandarin Dragonette that came in the same box both look great.

My last three orders from them have been miserable. Unfortunately it took me three to learn my lesson. I have a credit with them I don't even feel like using.

More info please?

Two local forum gb and I have learned my lesson.

No early emails saying we are out of stock just when we opened the box we were short items. We have a credit so we started another gb using credit from items not shipped and doa ... Same thing DOA and non shipped items without email warning.

After couple months of emails and complaints 1/2 the time no response we got refunded. They can post specials every other day but takes sometimes a week for a response on where is our refund

The first time I got what I feel was the wrong coral. The second time I ordered snails and received a free zoa, which would have been great if it wasn't doa. It was a freebie so I guess they wouldn't cover it. The third, I ordered more snails and got another free doa zoa. The package that should have taken three days or less came in five. The snails were a stinky mess and of course the zoa was dead. I understand most shipping issues are the shippers fault, but once again they weren't very concerned about another "FREE" dead zoa. Honestly, the only reason I ordered when I did was for the free zoas. Never again. Too many others to choose from to have to accept this.

Understandable. There are lots of places to choose from, how they handle my incident will determine if I deal with them in the future. This is my first online creature order, so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

My turn around time from purchase was insane... placed the order Monday evening (5pm CST) with a note that I wanted to receive the shipment on a Wednesday and I received it today by 945. Hopefully, I'll get my money back on the dead stuffs... we'll see.

ordered bunch of zoas from them and they definitely were not what i ordered. I will never purchase from them again.

I have made two orders from them the first order had a couple of zoas, an acan and some daisy poyps and a clownfish+gbta combo deal, i received everything I ordered and was pleased with the quantity of polyps I was given, the daisy polyps were non existent, the clownfish was tiny, had ich and died the next day. The gbta died the next week, I contacted them, supplied photos and was given credit towards my next purchase. I live about 10mins away from them, but they will not give you the 14day guarantee if you do local pick-up, so I spent $70+ to get the free in-state shipping.

My second order did not go as well, they were having a large sale on all their soft corals and figured I'd use my store credit. So I ordered a bunch of different types of zoas from their website and 2 firefish. I had to spend $70+ again to get the free shipping, even though they had a Zoanthid power pack which included free shipping on the entire order and was marked down to $5, but they said it was "out of stock" even though every coral included in the pack was individually "in Stock". I asked them about it and got some bull**** response.

Days later my second order came and a couple of the zoas I ordered were not the same ones pictured. I understand that it is not WYSIWYG but I expect them to be somewhat similar to the ones pictured, but some of them weren't even close. The firefish I ordered were sick and did not make it very long. I decided to not even claim the doa items, because there is no way that I am going to purchase anything from them ever again.

Terrible... I'm losing hope for my situation.

Thread moved to Vendor Feedback.

Thanks.

The flame Angel died with no warning. Only a sketchy royal gamma and green mandarin dragonette are left now. I really don't have much hope for them.

Ok so you placed the order with reefs2go then asked r2r users for our experience on reefs2go I am confused.

Yes. I assumed that since they were a sponsor on here, they would be a reputable company. Once I saw the quality of fish I received, I was wondering if others had similar experiences or if mine was a fluke.

If a company has such a terrible rep, I'm not really sure they should be allowed to be a sponsor on a forum.

I'm not ****** at them yet... still waiting to see how they are going to handle my dead fish claim before I pass judgement, but just based on the experiences of others, I probably won't order from them again.

Three orders made and all there had 90% of the fish die within a week or were DOA. A buddy if mine ordered $300 worth of hermits and snails and all arrived DOA. Took me almost a month to get refunds for dead items. Would rather pay more for quality livestock elsewhere.

That's my plan... trying to get a refund, now. Haven't gotten a response on the emails I sent them, yet.
