Beautiful! One of my favorite corals. I bought a small frag a couple months back that was basically dead when I got it but I am hoping it will come back.

You can see in the second pic where it started to get the green pigment in the center. This has spread. I will take an new pic, these two are quite old.

Nice. What kind of light do you have it under and how deep is it from the light?

When I can keep caps again I will get me some of this coral!

Thanks. LED in those pictures. The bottom third of my tank, which is 31" tall. Probably close to 36" below lights.

Thanks for the feedback. Im currently considering getting the same coral so I'm just doing some research and making sure that there is enough husbandry for it to thrive. From the following online resource, it is saying that it needs strong lighting. With that, can you elaborate what LED you have. Thanks.

I've had it in anywhere from 50 par to 250 par. More brown in 50 and nice bright orange anything more than 100 but will still grow in either.

I like my light a bit on the blue side, corals adjust. Slow adjustment is key.

My favorite cap. I still hate it when I see sellers saying they have a special grafted version with green in it and charge 3 or 4 times the normal price.

I have this cap too. Surprisingly grows fast with the proper params and light. I have a green monti shading this and at first with insufficient light. As soon as I got more light on it, starting taking off again.
