I suppose for cleaning the 3/8"-1/2" crabs were good; it let's them get in tight spots. I just like watching them and may have been spoiled by some stowaways in larger shells. If you want a lot of cheap ones, go with the smalls.

OK my order

2 green rock anemone
2 serpent star fish
2 red mitrax crabs
100 small blue hermits
1 medium sand sifting conch
1 small sand sifting conch
24 large cerith snails
1 purple frilly gorgonian

I love my red mithrax crabs from reeftopia.

I have not seen them come anywhere near my tiny green clown goby or 1-2" ocellaris. I would think they would be about the same as emerald crabs. YMMV.

Sometimes he has things that are in stock and not listed on his website. At least this was the case with nassarius snails about a week and a half ago. I will inquire tomorrow.

Trish...could you also ask about the availability of the Harlequin Serpent Star. If he happens to have one in stock I would prefer to have it over the regular one. If not...the regular one will do just fine.

I would be interested in 1 red rock anemone too if he has them.

Answers:

Are red nems available - 4 or so? No, but if the wind dies down he can collect some. He now knows we want them and will try to get some for us.

We are at $525 but will probably hit $600, can we get additional discount? No, the 10% is the best he can do

Does he have harlequin stars in stock? Yes, it is always first come first serve so he can't hold them but knowing we want them helps because he can try to get more

GHA advise - most things will eat green hair algae as it pops us, small blue legged crabs, other crabs, etc. The problem is that established GHA is a different story. This is the lettuce nudibranch's claim to fame. Unfortunately they eat all the algae and then wither away over the next couple of months.

Lawnmower blenny? These are found in the area but he chooses not to harvest them as they are so aggressive. The eyelash blenny is a very similar variety and is often confused with the LM blenny. He does not have any of these in stock at the moment but thinks he can have them by Thursday.

Dolabella sea hare? This is not found in his area.

I was asked about the lot discount on Lettuce Nudis - a quanity of 4 drops the price and currently there are two on our order.
