I have seen people do things to make the inside of their canopy hoov reflective and improve the spread of their light. Examples include, painting the inside mat white, layering reflective tape, and taping tinfoil around the inside.

I have a decent amount of light reflecting back up in my hood from my hydra 26s. Is it worth it to do something like this to improve the spread a bit?

You might get a few % out of it tops, without very careful optical planning. But if it’s cheap and doesn’t look horrible why not :)

If you do anything I recall flat white paint as being the best for reflecting light.

It's worth a shot, I think it will help a little.
