My new brs refractometer. I calibrated it with the solution. But for some reason its stuck at 20c. When i look through it. My tank temp is 25c. My other refractometer change temperature and i can see it. That temperature stuck is affecting the reading of my salinity. Why is it stuck? Im leaving it few mind to adjust temp top

Do you clean it after use?
What calibration solution are you using?

If you are referring to the 20c at the bottom that I believe is just the temp you are supposed calibrate them at.
Also even if your tank is a higher temp that drop of water will quickly cool down to match the temperature of your refractometer, and I believe most refractometers have some form of automatic temperature correction, although I have no clue how it works.

Good god, I hope it's not another beerfractometer. WHAT have I unleashed???

Then again, an alcohol refractometer would measure brix as well. Maybe that's what it's showing.

The number does not change it is printed on the scale.
